Centre Pompidou Metz

This new museum is an impressive piece of woodwork and concrete. Please especially have a closer look of the roof construction!

The world famous Centre Pompidou in Paris is known for being one of the first structures, where the architect put all pipes outside of the building. the walls are hidden behind what is usually inside a house. When it was built it created quite a noise among people. The museum has now opened a "satellite" museum in the city of metz in the north of france (the Guggenheim Museum did something similar in Bilbao, spain, to be seen here).

Well, here is the article and the slideshow about the centre pompidou metz
